Here Now

Whenever one of my friends claimed Lucerne to be one of the most beautiful cities I would disagree. Lately though, my opinion towards this city has completely changed. It's certainly not really big nor is it somewhat comparable to what I imagine myself to live in the future. Still, I like to believe I'm in the really nice and comfy waiting room of my future. Well, I'm bound to this place because of uni but I'm grateful being able to live and study here. Not only because of the beautiful places but also the people here who pretty much impersonate the city.

I basically have everything need. It took me a long time to realize.

Spring day, fun day

THU: Drinking / Meeting an old friend of mine / A bunch of military guys / Roadhouse bar
FRI: Student party / Wine / Dressing up for 3h / Stupid conversations / Pasta / Being drunk and complimenting each other for like an hour / Old friends

The weekend was so packed and fun. I was quite busy through the day and night. I kind of want to keep my weeks being so packed since it's spring and I want to go outside as much as possible!

Today morning, my classmates and I decided to check out this bar in our town (Lucerne). It's called Barcode, owned by a young turkish guy. The bar was so nice, especially the interior!

He told us he did the interior by himself. The letters on the wall he got from stores that were about to close. Such a nice idea! The food we got was also very good. I told my friends to give me some time to take a proper picture but they were totally not listening to me.

Good morning, good day!

Today morning, I was in my bed seriously thinking about skipping class. The weather was so nice though, I just had to go outside. I managed to take a shower, do my hair and makeup within 35 minutes, new record! In the rush, I totally forgot to bring my earphones therefore couldn't listen to music in the train. So I had to listen to noisy people ranting about the stupidest stuff with their ugly dialects. Anyways, I still want to share my new playlist with you. This one is only about female singers!

The sunny side of life

Lara, Ylva (go check out her blog) and I had to work on an assignment today. Since it was sunny outside, Lara and I decided to go out a bit to soak in the sunlight after we were (more or less) done.

2 days ago, I went shopping in Zurich and went crazy. I'm still not sure if I really had to buy the stuff but now it's too late anyway.. It was pretty much Zara that made me go cray cray. I was wandering around in the shop clueless about what to buy. Nothing really screamed for me until I saw a blond woman in her 40ies. Her style was awesome and she was holding a bunch of fantastic pieces of clothes on her arm. The colors were so spring-like and nice! She totally inspired me and boosted my pressure to buy stuff! My eyes were moving so fast and I was actually quite fascinated by my scanning abilities. After my psychopathic outbreak I saw myself clinging onto 9 pieces. I ended up buying only 3 items because Lara brought me back to reality and reminded me to not spend so much money on useless stuff...

So when I went out today, I decided to wear 3 items I purchased that day in Zürich. The wedges heels kind of hurt but I guess it will fade if I wear them more often. The hot pants from H&M are actually nice but i get a little paranoid sometimes because your butt will show up sometimes since the pants are really really short. 

⬆ Oh in case you wonder where it is. It's the beautiful city Lucerne. This place is called Ufschütti. They artificially made this part of the lake look like a sand beach. ⬇ Hot panini from Bachmann ☺

8 All time favorite cosmetic products

I'm really critical when it comes to changing cosmetic products. This year though, I really force myself to try new products. I'm listening to a rather boring class and all I have in my mind is shopping in Zürich. In about 2 hours I will be heading to Zürich city with my classmates. I will primarily be looking for new cosmetic products even though I already know it will be hard to convince me. Besides, you have to know that there are less cosmetic brands in Switzerland than anywhere else I've been. We don't have Makeupforever, Benefit, and so on. This is one of the reasons why I usually buy cosmetic products in Switzerland but rather buy in Korea or Germany or at airports in case I have to transfer. 

Here you see my 8 all time favorite cosmetic product I use on a daily basis.

1. Etude House BB Cream

☺ I wore this BB Cream the whole summer when I was in Korea. Although the air was extremely humid and hot, the BB Cream was always on my side and never turned greasy or caky. It's not too thick but at the same times does a great job when it comes to covering and stays the whole day! AMAZING

2. Shiseido Deep Cleansing Foam

☺ After every wash with the Shiseido Cleansing Foam my skin feels newly born and so soft. I can literally feel that it takes away all the grease and makeup from my face. What I like about it is that rubbing creates a lot of foam. The finer the foam the deeper it goes into your pores to clean! 

3. Max Factor Mascara Waterproof

☺ My eyelashes usually point down if I don't apply any mascara. Even if I curl lashes usually mascara would make it wet so my lashes bow down again. Max Factor Waterproof mascara though adds even more volume and my lashes stay up and long more than 24h. I even went swimming with this mascara. No Problemo!

☹ Since it is waterproof, you're actually not supposed to wear it on a daily basis. The product is really thick and hard to remove. I sometimes notice that some of my lashes break when I remove the mascara after a rough party night. 

4. H&M Eyeshadow Palette

I think H&M doesn't sell this palette anymore but a better and newer one.

☺ The natural colors are the best! The eyeshadow powder stays the whole day not if longer. Very easy to apply and lovely colors. The thing with palettes is that you wouldn't use every color but this palette clearly contains so many colors you can use!

☹ The case is very fragile.

5. Make Up Forever HD Concealer

☺ In case you have dark circles or visible veins under your eyes, Make Up Forever concealer is probably the best solution. You have to know that I tried like 100 different concealers. This one turned the least greasy and it really makes you look less tired. When it comes to choosing a color it's always the best to ask the shopgirl, trust me. 

6. Shiseido Spot Serum

☺ Best before cream and after softener / toner. The serum calms your skin after the cleansing. I don't know if it's really like this but I have the feeling that because of the Serum all the makeup products don't turn greasy. 

7. Etude House Skin Malgeum Softener

☺ First of all, i love the scent. Second of all, among all the softeners I have used, this is the least aggressive yet refreshing one.

8. Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow Cream

☺ I have talked about this one in the last post. The best for daily makeup since it's so easy to apply and lasts the whole day. Also when applying powder eyeshadow on it the Maybelline Tattoo eyeshadow can function as a very strong primer. 

As I said multiple times, these are products that I liked the most so far. Even though I already tried trillion different products, I feel that there are better products. For instance the Shu Uemura Foundation is supposed to be really good but I haven't tried it yet. Almost 75% of the products I am addicted to I got to know by recommendations from friends and family.
